How is this product different, or more advantageous than others?
The EcoloJar ointment jar is the only adjustable jar. Thanks to its telescopic bottom, a single pot allows you to prepare prescriptions in three different sizes (15, 30 and 60 ml).
This feature simplifies inventory management, in addition to saving time and space in the laboratory.

Can I change the EcoloJar’s capacity once it’s been adjusted?
Absolutely! To do so, simply turn the jar and, using the adaptor, replace the bottom in its initial position.

Ecoresponsibility and sustainable development
Is the EcoloJar recyclable?
Absolutely. Polypropylene (type 5, which is used to manufacture the EcoloJar) is a highly recyclable material.
However, a material’s recyclability varies depending on the sorting center’s capabilities.
To ensure its recyclability, we manufacture it with a single raw material, polypropylene. This non-toxic material is highly valued by recyclers.
Because most small pieces (such as caps) that go to sorting centers often end up in the trash, we moulded our ointment jar in a single piece. This feature ensures the product’s recyclability.
This is why ecodesign is so beneficial: the approach takes into account as many environmental criteria as possible right from the product’s inception, to avoid unnecessary impact on the environment.
What is the EcoloJar made of?
The EcoloJar is made of #5 polypropylene, a highly recyclable plastic.
It is entirely made of post-industrial recycled material that comes from our own closed-loop production chain.

Why don’t you use bioplastic?
We investigated this possibility, before concluding that its environmental footprint was higher than that of polypropylene.
